Place a single outbound call
Connect your own number, choose an agent, and start a single outbound call with optional variables.

Call one person with an agent — useful for testing, callbacks, and one-off follow-ups.
Before you start
Outbound calls go out from a number you own and have connected to the platform. Connect your own number first (see Add and assign a phone number) and assign it to the agent — agents without a number don't appear in the list.
Place the call
- Go to Calls → Single Call.
- Choose the agent under Agent.
- Enter the number to call, with its country code, under Phone Number.
- If Calling from appears, pick which of the agent's numbers to call from, or leave it on Auto.
- If you need to pass information into the call, click Show Additional Options and fill in Dynamic Variables, a Callback URL, or Metadata.
- Click Start Call.
After a call starts you'll need to wait a few seconds before starting another.
If the call doesn't go out immediately
If the agent's call flow has calling hours set and you start a call outside them, the call is held as pending and placed when the hours open. Check the flow's calling hours if a call doesn't ring straight away.
