Allow your website domain for an embedded agent

List the websites allowed to start web calls with your agents.

Before you add anything — read this

If your list is empty, this workspace's domain list does not restrict web calls. Adding your first domain enables the workspace's website restriction. An allowed domain also permits its subdomains. The platform's own demo pages and your workspace's portal are handled separately so those hosted pages can continue working.

Before adding the first domain, list every site that embeds an agent from this workspace — your main site, landing pages, staging sites and client sites. Add the domains needed to cover those sites in the same sitting. A site outside those domains can stop working between changes. This is a browser-embedding restriction, not a replacement for authentication or call-usage limits.

Add a domain

1. In the sidebar, click Settings, then the Workspace tab, and under the developer section click Domains.
2. Click Add Domain.
3. Enter the hostname on its own — no https:// and no trailing path. Check the "will be saved as" line matches what you meant.
4. Click Add Domain.

Repeat for every site before you finish.

Remove a domain

Open the … menu on the domain and delete it. Removing your last entry switches off this workspace's domain-list restriction; it does not disable other call-usage or browser checks.

If a site stops working

Check that the site's hostname equals an allowed domain or is a subdomain of it. For example, allowing example.com covers www.example.com and app.example.com; allowing only app.example.com does not cover example.com or www.example.com. Add the narrower domain when you only want that part of your site to embed the agent.
