Share an agent demo with a client

Share a published agent with expiry, usage limits, and required visitor variables.

Reviewed

Give a client a link that lets them talk to the agent in their browser, without an account.

  1. Open the call flow. If it has unpublished changes, publish them first — Share agent only appears once the flow is published and has no draft.

  2. Click Share agent.

  3. Give the link a name.

  4. Expand Advanced settings to set:

    • Link expiry — new links default to 30 days.
    • Per-user limit and total budget — new links have no minute limit until you set one, so set these before sharing a link widely.
    • Dynamic variables — values passed into the conversation, either preset by you or asked of the visitor. Each one must also appear as {{key}} in the agent's instructions, or it won't be used.
  5. Create the link and confirm.

  6. Click the link address to copy it, then open it in a private browser window to check it works.

You can have up to five links per agent.

Each link has a switch to turn it off, and a menu with:

  • View Stats — how much it's been used.
  • Reset Usage — clears usage against the limits, if limits are set.
  • Regenerate URL — issues a new address. The old one stops working immediately.
  • Delete — removes it.

The link uses the domain of the workspace you're signed into when you copy it. If you want clients to see your own branded domain, sign in on that domain and copy the link there. Regenerating the link changes only the code, not the domain.

  • Check the link is switched on and hasn't expired.
  • Check its usage hasn't hit the per-user limit or total budget.
  • Check the flow is still published — if it was unpublished or archived, the link stops working.
  • If a visitor is asked for a value before they can start, that's a required variable set to ask the user — remove it or preset it if you don't want that.
