Organise and reuse call flows

Duplicate, move, organise, and archive call flows while checking what is detached or copied.

Reviewed

Duplicate a flow to reuse it, move it between workspaces, file flows into folders, and archive the ones you're not using.

Duplicate a flow

  1. On Call Flows, open the flow's menu and click Duplicate. If you have more than one workspace, choose where the copy goes.
  2. The copy is created with an automatic name. Open its menu, click Rename, and give it a clear one.

A copy made in the same workspace keeps its knowledge bases. A copy made into a different workspace does not — you'll need to reattach the knowledge bases, phone number, SMS sender number and Slack connection in the new workspace. Demo links, folder and inbound rules don't carry over either.

Duplicating also copies any unpublished draft changes from the original, so publish or discard the original's draft first if you don't want them.

Move a flow to another workspace

Open and click Move to Workspace. This clears the flow's phone number assignments and removes it from its folder, so reassign the number in the destination workspace afterwards. The option only appears if you have another workspace.

Folders

Use New Folder on the Call Flows page to create one, then Move to Folder from a flow's menu. Switch between grid and table views with the icons in the toolbar.

Archive a flow

Archiving takes a flow out of the active list and stops it sending or receiving calls. Reassign or release its phone number first, so callers aren't left with a number that no longer answers.

  1. Open and click Archive, then confirm.
  2. You'll be told what was detached — numbers, knowledge bases and demo links.
  3. To bring it back, open Archived at the top of Call Flows and restore it, then reconnect anything listed.

Deleting is permanent and is done from the Archived list.
