Find or create your API key

API keys let your own systems call the platform API. Creating one needs a specific plan and role.

Before you start

• Plan. API keys aren't available on the Basic plan. If Settings → Workspace tab only shows Domains and Secrets under Developer (no API Keys), your account is on Basic.
• Role. Only the workspace owner or an admin can create a key. Other roles that can view API keys will see the list but can't add to it.
• If you were invited with the Simplified experience, API Keys isn't shown to you at all.

Find your keys

1. Click Settings → Workspace tab.
2. Under Developer, click API Keys.

Create a key

1. On API Keys, click Generate New Key.
2. Give it a Key Name and click Generate Key.
3. Copy the key immediately — use the copy icon next to it. Treat it like a password.

Manage keys

Each key shows its name, when it was created, and when it was last used. Use the eye icon to reveal a key, or the ⋯ menu to Revoke one you no longer need. Revoking can't be undone.

If API Keys isn't showing

Confirm you're signed in as the owner or an admin. If it's still missing, contact support with your workspace ID — your account may be set up as Basic when it shouldn't be.
